Hi! My name is Alexis and let me tell you a bit about my journey as an RMT.
I have always been fascinated with the body, how it works & moves. I’ve also always had a heart to help others. In my high school years I was a cheerleader and during that time I would sustain injuries. My first massage, blew my mind. I had been experiencing serve headaches from an injury and that one massage helped improve my health significantly. From that moment on, I had an interested in a career as a massage therapist. I made the leap and went to massage school right after I graduated high school.
I graduated from the Medical Massage Therapy program in the early summer of 2019 and registered with MTAS (Massage Therapist Association of Saskatchewan) later that summer. I began my career at a chiropractic clinic and was able to build my knowledge base there. Since then, I have worked in a variety of different settings & have worked and learned from many different professionals.
During my years as a RMT, I have taken a lot of continuing education such as;
